"The girls" in front of the home of William Osborne Crowe and Mary Jane Crowe (Crowe). Left to right: Viola Crowe, Nellie McDonald, Ida Bowles Crowe and Rebecca McDonald.

About the pictures: Senator Sanford Crowe of Vancouver, BC was a half brother to my gg-grandmother Mary Jane Crowe (Crowe). Sanford's sons wwere harold and Elmer. These pictures were assembled into an album with the inscription: "To Grandma, from Harold and Elmer, X-Mas 1912." I am not exactly sure who Grandma is - Sanford was married twice and Sanford and Mary Jane's father was married three times. My g-grandmother Rebecca is wearing her wedding ring in the photos and she was married in 1909. She was expecting a baby the summer of 1910 so my best guess these pictures were taken in the spring or summer of 1911 or 1912.

These two photos are also in the 1912 X-Mas album. They are not labled like the others so maybe they were added later? Does anyone have any into?

I'd be happy to share family information with interested parties. Suzanne Schroder Ripleysresidence@msn.com
