Established: February 18, 1913
County seat: Rigby, Idaho
Named for: Thomas Jefferson, third president of the United
States.
The first settlers were Mormons, shortly after their arrival they began
constructing irrigation systems throughout the area.
You may be interested to learn that television was
invented in the city of Rigby by Philo T Farnsworth
Land Area: 1,106 square miles.
